Ford Mustang SVT spied testing on the Nürburgring

If you thought Ford were going to let Chevrolet and Dodge get away with the new Camaro Z/28 and Challenger SRT Hellcat, then you thought wrong, because the company’s already working on a high-performance variant of the new Mustang.

Reportedly called the Mustang SVT/GT350, the sports car was recently filmed lapping the Nürburgring Nordschleife under heavy camouflage. However, the camouflage fails to hide the aggressive aerodynamic kit that includes a hood scoop and an large rear diffuser.

While there aren’t any information regarding the powertrain, it is believed the Mustang SVT will most likely feature the 5.0-liter V8 engine that powers the Mustang GT.
