July 5, 2015 – Lewis Hamilton won the 2015 Formula 1 British Grand Prix after an inspired drive in changeable conditions at Silverstone – his third triumph on home soil, matching the record of compatriots Jim Clark and Nigel Mansell.

The world champion saw off the threat of early leaders Williams, and then made an inspired pit call when rain hit late in the race to ensure victory over Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg and the Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel.

Felipe Massa took fourth ahead of Williams team-mate Valtteri Bottas, Red Bull’s Daniil Kvyat was sixth, Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg claimed seventh and the second Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen came eighth.
