February 20, 2017 – Sauber became the second team after Williams to reveal their 2017 Formula 1 car as the Swiss outfit published the first images of its Ferrari-powered C36 ahead of its debut in the first pre-season test in Barcelona next week.

For 2017, Sauber has kept Sweden’s Marcus Ericsson, while Brazilian Felipe Nasr has been replaced by Germany’s Pascal Wehrlein who will skip the first pre-season test due to back injuries as a result of an accident in the Race of Champions.

Sauber endured one of its toughest seasons last year as it collected 2 points, courtesy of a 9th place finish for Felipe Nasr in Brazil, and finished the constructors’ championship in 10th place.
