Four Mercedes-Benz crew members were left injured after a pit incident involving Ralf Schumacher during the 8th round of the 2012 DTM championship in Zandvoort, Netherlands.
Ex-Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher was leaving his pit box when his Mercedes C-Class Coupe’s rear wing clipped an air hose which snapped and hit several pit crew members, throwing them on the ground and almost decapitating one of them.
All four men were immediately hospitalized with three of them discharged that same day while one member remained overnight. Check out the incident in the video below.
