Four Lebanese drivers will participate in the 2016 Rallye Antibes Côte d’Azur

May 16, 2016 – The 51st edition of the Rallye d’Antibes, the third round of the 2016 French Rally Championship, that is taking place this weekend (May 20-22) will be undertaken by four Lebanese drivers.

Roger Feghali and co-driver Joseph Matar return to the event, having won it last year in a Ford Focus WRC, and they aim to score a second consecutive victory. The pair will be armed with a Citroen DS3 WRC.

On the other hand, Rodolphe Asmar/Catherine Derousseaux and Nassib Nassar/Rony Maroun will compete in the R2 category onboard two Peugeot 208 VTi. Lebanon’s Patrick Njeim will also drive a Peugeot 208 VTi alongside co-driver Marc Haddad. However, Njeim will be racing under the German nationality.

More than 120 teams will tackle the French event that comprises 12 special stages covering 206,08 kilometers of the 669,18-kilometer total distance.
