Last year was full of disappointement mainly because of the mechanical problems. Some doubted him, some doubted the car but time proved that he can pull it, and so he did in Arsoun.
After struggling a lot with the car last year, this year you were able to nail it in the first hill climb. Tell us more about the win.
It’s looking like a very good start for the season. I would like to thank Roger Feghali and Jihad Mrad who was following my preparation the whole time. I would also like to thank MMW garage because they built the car again from zero. I would like to thank my sponsors; Continental tyres and Republic. I would I also like to thank all those who helped me, they are a lot I can’t thank them all.
How did you find the competition with the RWD category?
Honestly Micho is from the people that you cannot leave for 1 second. I guess what happened is that when one of us made his run he was able to break the score of the other, and it stayed like this to then end. We were a bit fortunate more than him but thank god we were able to win a battle that was very difficult.
Do you think that the good preparation gave you the win?
No doubt at all.
What is the difference between this year and last year?
The car had a lot of week points last year and it seems we were able to sort them up this year and we are looking like hitting our target.
Is there any rally project this year?
I am still waiting, I am not sure. This thing is related to the sponsored.
