2026 Genesis GV60 Magma Promises Electrifying Performance
Genesis is set to ignite its lineup with the all-new 2026 GV60 Magma, a high-performance electric SUV that combines bold design, thrilling speed, and luxurious comfort. As the first model under the brand’s new Magma sub-label, this sporty crossover signals Genesis’s serious entry into the performance EV market.
Built on the E-GMP platform—shared with powerhouses like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Kia EV6 GT—the GV60 Magma is expected to deliver over 641 horsepower from a dual-motor AWD setup. With launch control, it’s projected to sprint from 0–60 mph in around 3 seconds, putting it squarely in competition with the Porsche Macan EV and Audi SQ6 e-tron.
The Magma isn’t just about speed; it also introduces a racier design and a driver-focused interior with sportier trim and tech enhancements. Genesis is positioning Magma variants across its full lineup, from sedans to SUVs, offering a dynamic alternative to traditional luxury.
Genesis Magma Racing will also take this ethos to the track, entering international endurance races in 2026 and 2027, including Le Mans and Daytona.
