Habib and Samaha halfway into Peking to Paris Motor Challenge 2016

June 30, 2016 – Lebanon’s Charbel Habib and Walid Samaha are currently slightly over halfway into the Peking to Paris Motor Challenge 2016 race as they crossed 7483 kilometers of the 13695-kilometer total distance.

Driving a Porsche 356C, Habib and co-driver Samaha are located in Russia at the moment and will be crossing the Russian-Belarusian borders on July 5, before going through Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy and Switzerland to reach their final destination, Place Vendome in French capital Paris on July 17.

Fortunately, Habib and Samaha have encountered zero problems with the Porsche 356C so far after having traveled for 140 hours 30 minutes and 54 seconds.

It is worth mentioning that the pair is the only Lebanese and Middle Eastern team competing in the event, among 115 competitors.
