July 11, 2016 – Lebanon’s Charbel Habib and Walid Samaha are on their way to completing the highly demanding Peking to Paris Motor Challenge as the pair enter the final week of competition.
Racing against 114 teams from all over the world, Habib and Samaha have completed 12,206 kilometers of the 13,695-kilometer total distance, which means they have only 1,489 kilometers left.
Unlike many other competitors, Habib and Samaha have, fortunately, not faced any mechanical issues with their Porsche 356C and have clocked 219 hours 37 minutes and 3 seconds so far.
The Lebanese pair is currently in Slovenia and will be crossing the borders to Italy on July 13, before reaching the final destination in Place Vendôme in Paris, France on Sunday, July 17.
