August 5, 2016 – After crunching the numbers, the guys at focus2move were able to find out the best-selling cars around the world during the first six months of 2016.

Toyota’s Corolla remains the best-selling car globally and by a comfortable margin; the Japanese manufacturer shipped 634,000 units of the Corolla so far, compared to 500,000 units of the Volkswagen Golf, which sits in second place on the list.
However, the biggest winner is Hyundai’s Tucson, which managed to jump from 110th to 16th, with sales increasing by 202 percent as 285,000 units were sold in the first half of 2016 compared to 94,000 units during the same period last year.
