February 1, 2017 – UK auto parts retailer Quickco has released a map of the most-Googled car brands around the world in 2016 after analyzing data from the world’s number 1 search engine: Google (duh).
We weren’t surprised to discover that Toyota ranks first as it is the most-googled car brand in 74 different countries. BMW ranks 2nd, topping Google search in 51 countries, while Hyundai rounds out the top 3 as it leads in 17 countries.
Unsurprisingly, the most-Googled car brand in Lebanon is none other than BMW. If you want to see results for other countries, you can click here to open the map in high resolution.
It is worth mentioning that this study isn’t 100% representative because Google isn’t the most popular search engine in some large countries such as China and Russia.
