Hyundai are doing the most amazing things lately. They are fighting hard for a high position in the world market. They wanna beat their Japanese neighbors, Toyota. Well they are doing a good job. Their last coupe car was the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. It is a very successful car indeed and maybe the best sports car Hyundai ever built. The car won many accreditation and they sales of the Genesis were beyond expectation.
Hyundai introduces its newest coupe, the Veloster. First thing you might notice looking at the Veloster is that its main rival will be the Honda CR-Z. The car has a 1.6-liter direct-injected four-cylinder engine that generates a 138 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through either a six-speed manual gearbox or Hyundai’s new six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Fuel economy is estimated at up to 40 highway mpg.
Veloster is a dynamic Hatch and expresses a new vision within the Hyundai design department. It’s a new change from the old dull economic hatched like the current Hyundai i10 and other models. The car is also an answer to the new Citroen DS3 and any attempts to a new sporty Mazda 2.
Hyundai are well on the way.
