Infiniti marked a 45% increase in sales in the Lebanese Market

December 20, 2016 – Infiniti has made its biggest impression in Lebanon this year. The premium car brand has announced record business results for the Lebanese market for the year 2016. In time where the luxury car segment witnessed a decrease of 10.58% in comparison to the same period of 2015, and the total market of the new car sales faced another decrease of 5.41%, Infiniti marked a significant increase of 45.6% when comparing the sales figures between year-to-date January-November 2015 and 2016.

This achievement comes as a result of the strong partnership between Rasamny-Younis Motor Company (RYMCO), the authorized distributor of Infiniti in Lebanon and Infiniti Middle East.

It is also attributed to the expansion of the Infiniti’s lineup. May 2016, marked the exclusive introduction of two new premium crossovers; the Infiniti QX50 and QX60. The QX60 has several advancements including interior improvements and technological upgrades. As for the QX50, significant enhancements have been made, particularly in regards to rear legroom. In addition, both models featured a renovated exterior design. These premium crossovers were renewed in the most innovative and delicate way possible; enhancing the elegance and versatility of the overall luxurious driving experience.

The Q30 was the strongest contributor. It has demonstrated its game changer capabilities, being the bestselling Infiniti model in the region since its market introduction.

Three months later, in October, RYMCO and Infiniti Middle East, introduced the new 2017 Infiniti Q50 sports sedan with a number of performance and dynamic upgrades that delivered a more empowering and rewarding driving experience. The comprehensive updates included next-generation ride and handling technologies; while two new power trains were introduced to the range, featuring two advanced turbocharged V6 engines.

Infiniti’s 2017 calendar seems to be promising, with various milestones to be accomplished. It kicks off with the launch of the brand new Q60 followed by the opening of Infiniti’s new showroom in Chiyah, as well as renovating the service center. The new state-of-the-art showroom is currently being designed as per IREDI standards to provide all customers the ultimate Infiniti experience.

“We are very proud of the sales achievements we have made in 2016 so far,” said Fayez Rasamny, CEO of RYMCO. “The results highlight the trust that customers have in the brand and in RYMCO services. We are confident that with the new models to be launched in 2017, we will continue our success in Lebanon.”
