Xavier, congratulations, how were your two runs today?
Thank you! My two runs were great, it was different to what we’ve seen in Fouad Chehab, the track there was tricky, here it is wider, and the asphalt is better, the car is better and so are our morals.
How do you feel about today’s event, in this particular area and with this kind of crowd?
It is one of the best, it’s close to Beirut, it was usually held in Faraya. It’s very very nice.
Are you satisfied with this season?
Speed Tests were pretty good but hopefully we’ll be able to move up categories next year.
You always promise a Hill Climb participation…
Hopefully, we have to check with sponsors, it’s not easy.
If you look backwards at previous years, are you seriously satisfied with your results?
Nobody’s satisfied, every person wants more. Of course if I look backwards two or three years ago, I’d say I’ve improved a lot.
Do you think the rule changes have helped you?
I don’t really look at the rules, I like to compare myself with Abdo and the top drivers. Rules are just for points and experience.
