July 6, 2015 – Roger Feghali secured the 24th Cedars’ Rally victory after winning all 12 special stages. Feghali and his new co-driver Lara Vanneste finished more than 2 minutes ahead of everyone else in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X R4.
“I was aware that the RRC and R5 cars had an advantage, but the stages were short and had long straights, which helped us and brought down the gaps between the cars” said Roger about the competition in the Cedars’ Rally.
“You would have to ask him” he replied when asked about Abdo Feghali’s sudden decision to retire from second place overall at the end of the eighth special stage.
Roger had a new co-driver in the Cedars’ Rally, 23-year-old Lara Vanneste, an experienced co-driver from Belgium who’s previously worked alongside big names such as Craig Breen and Bryan Bouffier.
“Joseph Matar is my co-driver, but he’s been busy with Nicolas Amiouni in the World Rally Championship during the last couple of rallies.”
