December 28, 2015 – Auto Express takes Porsche’s latest track weapons, the 911 GT3 RS and Cayman GT4 to the Silverstone Circuit in the UK to find out how they compare in terms of laptimes.
The 911 GT3 RS is theoretically faster thanks to its 4.0-liter flat-six engine that produces 500 horsepower, coupled to a PDK dual-clutch transmission, while Cayman GT4, which is 80 kilograms lighter, makes do with a 3.8-liter flat-six that makes 385 horsepower and a manual transmission.
