Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour concept introduced in Geneva

During the 2013 Geneva Motor Show this week, and to mark the company’s 45th anniversary, Italian design firm Italdesign Giugiaro introduced the new Parcour concept.

Parcour or “Parkour” is a French word for the “art of displacement”, in other words, moving from one place to another while overcoming the obstacles in between; the firm gave it this name for obvious reasons: it can drive over rough terrain with no difficulty.

The Parcour is powered by a 542-hp 5.2-liter V10 engine sourced from the Lamborghini Gallardo, connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that drives all four wheels.

Both a coupe and a roadster version of the concept were built; Italdesign says the car can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 320km/h.
