Jaguar has been hard at work testing its F-Type roadster, with spy shots and videos of the camouflaged car emerging several times on the internet. Today, and prior to its public debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the British luxury and sports car manufacturer released the very first photo of the Roadster.
The F-Type looks very similar to the C-X16 Concept which was first shown at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, although it lacks the roof previously seen on the concept. And if you fancy a closed-top model, you don’t have to worry, as Jaguar will also be introducing a coupe version next year.
Three engine options will be available: two supercharged V6 engines with 335 horsepower for the standard model and 375 hp for the “S” version, and a 5.0-liter V8 for the range-topping “R” variant.
Further details will be announced at the Paris Motor Show in one week, stay tuned!
