March 16, 2015 – After being suspended by the BBC following an altercation with one of its producers, Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has hinted that he might be leaving the show once and for all.
In his latest column for The Sun newspaper, Clarkson compared himself to dinosaurs when he wrote the following:
“Nature made a mistake when it invented the dinosaur. It was too big, too violent. All the dinosaurs died and now, years later, no-one mourns their passing. These big, imposing creatures have no place in a world which has moved on. You can start as many campaigns as you like and call on the support of politicians from all sides, but the day must come when you have to wave goodbye to the big monsters, and move on.”
If Clarkson decides to quit Top Gear, will Richard Hammond and James May follow in his footsteps and leave, or will the show go on without its star? We’ll find out soon.
