March 11, 2015 – The BBC announced yesterday that it has suspended Top Gear UK host Jeremy Clarkson following a heated quarrel with a BBC producer. Top Gear’s latest episode, which was scheduled to air on Sunday, has been put on hold as well.
New reports coming out of the UK today reveal that Clarkson was suspended after throwing a punch at a male BBC producer. Apparently, the incident took place a week ago, but was reported to the BBC on Monday, and executives took the decision to suspend Clarkson on Tuesday.
The reports also claim that final three episodes of Top Gear Series 22 episodes are now on hold until the whole issue is resolved.
