March 10, 2015 – Top Gear UK host Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended from the show, the BBC has announced in a press release today.
The BBC gave no further details on the current incident involving Clarkson, and said it would not be making any further statements at this time. Moreover, the latest Top Gear episode will not broadcast this coming Sunday.
The official statement said: “following a fracas with a BBC producer, Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time.”
