The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is one of the most anticipated Motorsport events each year where both man and machine are pushed to the absolute limits on a 20-kilometer course leading to the summit of Pikes Peak mountain.
This year, as every year, saw at least one driver push a tad too hard as Jeremy Foley went off course at a corner ironically called “Devils Playground”, Jeremy then found himself no more than a passenger in a rolling Mitsubishi Evolution 8.
Both Jeremy and co-driver were air-lifted to a nearby hospital, and were soon released thereafter. Luckily, both escaped serious injury with only the co-driver suffering from a dislocated shoulder.
