Kawasaki H2R reaches 400km/h on a bridge in Turkey

July 1, 2016 – A Kawasaki H2R motorcycle successfully reached the 400 km/h barrier, despite the Japanese company believing that the track-only 300-hp bike could only hit 380 km/h.

However, after making small changes to the motorcycle’s setup, four-time Supersport World Champion Kenan Sofuoğlu recently managed to reach 400 km/h on the Osman Gazi Bridge – the fourth-longest suspension bridge in the world – in Turkey.

Sofuoğlu made the 0-400 km/h sprint in 26 seconds on the newly-opened 2.68-kilometer bridge.
