Kifah Hilal takes first Lebanese Drifting round of 2015 victory

May 17, 2015 – Kifah Hilal secured his first ever victory in the Lebanese Drifting Championship during the opening round of the 2015 season that took place in the International Olympic Stadium in Tripoli this afternoon.

Hilal, who drove a BMW 323i, was awarded the most points (381 points) from the jury, which included Nabil Komboz, Elie Ghanem, Nicolas Hindy and Khalil Hachem, while second place went to BMW 320i driver Mohammad Baalbaki. The event was closely contested as only 30 points separated the top 12.

Third place went to the winner of last year’s opening round BMW 330Ci driver Fadi Boustany, with Nicolas Abdo clinching the Amateur class win in his BMW 325i.

Nissan 350Z drivers Elie Hchaime and Jad Richani completed the Amateur class podium, finishing second and third.
