After an amazing round of the 2011 speed test championship, in the presence of a huge amount of spectators, the second round is due to take place this Sunday in Kfarzebian. The event that will be held in “Warde” parking is expected to witness big competition on all the level and in all categories. Round 1 finished with some surprising results, especially from amateur runners Rabih Ayoud and Elie Jean Hage. The event will also be the end of an hectic weekend in Lebanese motorsport starting from the Red Bull Qualifiers on Friday and Saturday reaching the Speed test on Sunday. The cars are due to go to scrutineering on Friday and will head be, and as usual divided into categories ranging between PRO, Group N, amateurs and others.

The event will also highlight the first participation for a Lebanese lady in this Lebanese Motor Sport year. The first lady to featuring in the speed test this year will be Lea Dehni, driving a “Smart ForTwo” with a grey color.

When asked about her participation Lea told us that she is in for the fun and thrill.

“I’m participating in this speed test to really see what goes on, on the track and see how things go down there. It’s my 1st time. I’m just participating for fun but later on it might follow who knows.”
