The MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup 2024 showcased top talent as Lebanon clinched first, with Morocco and the UAE taking second and third overall.
The 2024 MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup, hosted by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) for the second consecutive year, concluded with spectacular racing and regional talent on full display. Held from December 19 to December 21, the championship brought together over 150 drivers from 16 Middle East and North Africa countries, showcasing the region’s best in karting.
Three teams stood out among the fierce competition, with Lebanon securing the top spot and winning the prestigious “MENA Nations Cup.” Morocco claimed second place, while the UAE rounded out the podium in third.

Micro Max:
The UAE dominated, with Ava Lawrence and Atiqa Asif Mir claiming P1 and P2 with times of 17:39.551 and 17:40.738, respectively. Morocco’s Nahyl El Gahoudi completed the podium in P3 with a time of 17:43.383.
Mini Max:
Faris Haroun from the UAE secured P1, clocking 16:56.733. Lebanon’s Joe Mourad followed in P2 with a time of 16:59.712, while Qatar’s Saif Al Obaidli claimed P3 at 17:05.162.
Junior Max:
The UAE’s Nathan Kappen led the field, taking P1 with a time of 20:56.954. Palestine’s Malek Mustafa claimed P2 at 21:08.364, followed by UAE’s Veer Chopra in P3 at 21:08.499.
Senior Max:
Jordan’s Sanad Al Hamawi took P1 with a strong time of 20:58.907. Morocco’s Anis Tazi followed in P2 with 21:06.771, and Egypt’s Zain El Hommossany finished P3 at 21:07.033.
DD2:
Lebanon’s Christopher Njeim led the DD2 category with a time of 20:42.371, followed by Qatar’s Taha Hassiba in P2 at 20:43.037. Algeria’s Souhil Khatal rounded off the top three at 20:45.762.
DD2 Masters:
Algeria’s Sofiane Salhi claimed P1 with 20:48.947, Qatar’s Faisal Al Yaefi took P2 at 20:55.695, and Lebanon’s Abdo El Feghali secured P3 at 21:05.897.
R390 Endurance:
Team Morocco triumphed in the R390 Endurance category, followed by the UAE in P2 and Algeria in P3.
R390 Sprint:
Lebanon dominated, with Mathias Njeim and Jad Al Awar taking P1 and P2, posting times of 19:51.620 and 19:55.099, respectively. Morocco’s Mahdi Kadri secured P3 at 19:55.272.
This year’s championship not only highlighted the skill and competitiveness of the drivers but also cemented the MENA Karting Championship as a key event for fostering motorsport talent across the region.
