June 25, 2016 – Lebanon’s young kart racer Karl Massaad underwent a testing session in a Formula 4 race car around the Anglesey Circuit in Wales, United Kingdom this past week.
The 18-year-old, who heavily impressed in the first round of the X30 European Karting Championship back in April, published a photo and a video of his first ever test in an open-wheeled single-seater.
Formula 4 cars are low cost race cars intended for young drivers all over the world. They are equipped with the latest FIA safety specifications and can fit a variety of engines. The F4 car tested by Massaad featured a 1.6-liter Ford EcoBoost engine tuned to deliver the FIA’s maximum permitted 160 horsepower.
