November 19, 2016 – Lebanon’s Mohammad Chehab reached a new milestone yesterday when he underlined his talent by clinching the UAE Autocross Championship for the first time.
Chehab sealed the Autocross title in dominant fashion, scoring 5 victories in 5 rounds of the championship in a Silver Car ST2 just a few weeks after he had taken a class victory at Al Dhaid Rally.
“I’ve been competing against fierce competitors in fast cars. Many tried but none could keep up with me in the Silver Car ST2. I think I proved my talent at a young age and I showed them what I’m capable of by dominating all 5 rounds of the championship.” he said after his title triumph.
Chehab wants to defend his title once again next year, and he’s thirsty for success outside of the UAE as he confirmed a full Lebanese Speed Test Championship program for 2017.
“My Lebanese Speed Test Championship preparations are going 100 percent according to plan. I will be driving a Mitsubishi Evo 9 Prototype sponsored by Rayes Competition.”
