June 22, 2016 – Lebanon’s Tani Hanna competed in the third round of the Ferrari Challenge Europe that was held on Circuit de la Sarthe that hosted the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans on the same weekend.
Hanna was the fastest driver in Qualifying, taking pole position in the Shell category in only his first appearance on the French circuit. However, heavy downpour during the race caught out many drivers, including Hanna, who completed the last few laps of the race on three wheels after what was a great showing by the Lebanese driver.
Hanna currently lies in fourth place in the championship, which qualifies him to participate in the Ferrari Finali Mondiali that will take place in Daytona, USA in December 2016.
It is worth mentioning that Hanna won the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific round in Yas Marina back in April, and followed it up with a second place in the Shell category in the second round of the Ferrari Challenge Europe in Mugello.
