Lexus LF-CC unveiled, heading to Paris

Prior to its official unveiling at the Paris Motor Show, Lexus has released the first photos of the LF-CC concept car, previewing the design language of not only the next-generation IS sedan, but the coupe version as well, which is set to take on the BMW 4-Series and Audi A5.

The LF-CC is powered by an all-new hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, a generator, a high-performance battery and an electric motor which’ll help the car deliver “the performance expected of a premium D-segment coupe.”

Designwise, it inherits a lot of clues from its larger sibling the LF-LC concept but has been toned down a bit to look more production-ready, the interior meanwhile hints at the cabin styling of the next-gen IS range with the use of soft-touch materials and metallic accents.

Lexus did not release any performance figures, so we’re gonna have to wait for the 27th of September to find out. You can check out the photos below in the meantime.
