A Statement by: Mahmoud Z. Tannir
”This is the best start of the season for me, after qualifying in first position, I managed to finish 2nd in race1 and to win in race 2 on my Triumph Daytona. I am very happy with this result, specially that I had some technical problems with tires and suspension all day long, but manged to ride around them.
Last season I finished 3rd in the championship and the aim now is to win, but unfortunately I am competing without any sponsors or support this year and it would
be a shame not to be able to compete the whole season as I feel strong enough to fight for the title, but to do this without a financial support is not possible.
Being the only Lebanese to do this sp
ort and being competitive outside Lebanon is very encouraging but I would like to take this opportunity to ask the Lebanese Federation for their support to be able to represent Lebanon in this championship and hopefully others”.

The next round will take place on Friday 21st of October and I will try my best to win again, provided I can find a sponsor and participate.
