Joe Ghanem ended this weekend with yet another double win in the Maserati Grand Trofeo Middle East after dominating both races in the series. The races this weekend were from the 4th round of the championship and took place on Losail track in Qatar. In race one Joe started first but needed to fight back for his position with Patrick Zamparini who jumped him on the launch to clinch the first win of the weekend.
Joe Ghanem drove faultlessly in Race 2 and finished 59.973seconds clear of the field. Behind him Patrick Zamparini had to work hard to secure the second step of the podium as he came under pressure from fellow countryman Alberto Vesconi, Justino de Azcarate Riiveroll from Venezuela and home talent Saadon Al Kuwari.
