Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH will offer an illuminated star emblem on your Mercedes’ central front grille, the German brand has announced via a new video.
The three-pointed star glows when the car is stationary, unlocked or when the engine is stopped; it also lights up when the door or trunk are opened.
The illuminated star is already available on the M- and GL-Class models; It will be optionally available from next month on the C-, CLS- and E-Class models. Models equipped with Distronic (radar-guided braking and driving assistant) cannot have this feature.
The feature costs 300 Euros (395 US dollars) and requires the star to be mounted on the grille.
