Mercedes-Benz introduced the very first high-performance AMG model of its GL, dubbed the GL63 AMG.
The full-sized crossover SUV is endowed with a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine producing 550 horsepower and 760Nm of torque. Power is transferred to all four wheels through a 7-Speed automatic transmission.
The GL63 AMG goes from a standing still to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds, while returning an average fuel economy of 12.3liter/km (or 160km per 20L).
It is distinguished by a rather subtle aero package featuring larger air intakes, standard LED lights, quad chrome exhausts and 21 inch alloy wheels.
The high-performance SUV is expected to go on sale starting from November of this year.
