We’ve already seen the 2014 Mercedes-E-Class sedan and wagon as well as a sneak peek at the new E63 AMG, but now the time has come for their coupe and convertible siblings.
Unveiled prior to their debut at the Detroit Motor Show, the revised Coupe and Cabriolet models take many of the cues introduced on the sedan, such as the headlights, although also slightly different, while carrying over the previous E-Class’ wide rear haunches.
Inside, the cabin gets a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel. There are also new materials and a two-part trim, in wood or aluminum, across the dashboard.
Power is provided via a range of petrol and diesel engines, most notably, a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 288 horsepower on the E350 and a 5.5-liter V8 unit developing 383 hp on the E500.
