Mercedes GP launch 2012 F1 car

The German car maker has launched his title fighter today in Barcelona during F1’s second official test of the season. The car which is named W03 will be looking to build up on the failures of the past 2 seasons where the team finished 4th in the championship twice. Team boss Ross Brawn said that he hopes that they will be able to move forward this year and improve their final standings. “We have to go forward,” he said. “None of us are happy with a recurring fourth place. That is not why any of us are here. We have to go forward, but I am quietly confident with the strength we have got, the resources we have got and the team we are building that we can do that.”

Brawn also said that one of the factors that motivates for the Mercedes project is that the team has built a stronger technical base by adding more expert recruits in the likes of Geoff Willis and Aldo Costa. The team ensures driver stability by keeping both Micheal Schumacher and Nico Roseberg hoping to build on the stability withing the this lineup.
