February 21, 2016 – Mercedes has launched its 2016 Formula 1 challenger, the W07 Hybrid, with which it hopes to defend its world championship titles this season.
The W07 Hybrid features an evolutionary design with “optimisation absolutely everywhere”; it successfully ran for the first time on Friday as Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton clocked up just under 100 kilometers between them at Silverstone as part of a promotional event.
The car will appear tomorrow in the first day of pre-season testing, with Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel.
