July 20, 2016 – An electrified Mercedes-Benz Vito van made by American electric vehicle company Atieva manages to obliterate a Ferrari California and Tesla Model S in a drag race.
The drag race was organized in order to demonstrate the company’s electric power technology, with the 900-hp all-wheel drive electric van, called “Edna”, easily beating its rivals to the finish line.
Atieva intends to put the van’s powertrain into a sedan that should enter production and go on sale in 2018.
