January 29, 2015 – The Mercedes Formula 1 squad has rolled out the championship-defending W06 Hybrid today for its first shakedown around the Silverstone Circuit in the UK.
Both world champion Lewis Hamilton and his teammate Nico Rosberg tested the new car, completing 18 laps before the shakedown was interrupted by a blizzard.
The car will be formally unveiled in the Jerez pitlane on Sunday morning, ahead of the start of the first 2015 Formula 1 winter test.
