Michel Abou Jawdeh out of Bteghrine Hill Climb

Michel Abou Jawdeh has been let down by his sponsors yet again ahead of this weekend’s race.

Lebanese young starlet Michel Abou Jawdeh, category and class winner in Falougha Hill Climb will be abscent yet again this Sunday. The young driver have failed to compete in the past event in Deir El Qamar due to last minute sponsor issues. Michel who had a verbal agreement with his sponsor to compete in the whole championhsip this year has saw his sponsor let him down again in this event. His main sponsor who backed him up in Falougha saw some good exposure and Michel fullfilled all the requirements by winning.

The continues issue of sponsoring in Lebanon is affecting the growth of our young talented drivers. Drivers like Michel Abou Jawdeh should find the necessary finances in order to flourish. The loss of such talents, is a loss for the sports in general and the country as well. How come a driver with such an excellent record in terms of wins per participation, cant find this small budge to compete in a hill climb which does not cost much. Hill Climbs cost much less the Rallies in general and they span over the course of one day, for 2 or 3 runs only.

We wish Michel and other Lebanese talents more luck in the future and we hope to see them soon.
