It was surely not the BMW’s day on Sunday in Falougha, But Michel Feghali proved to be the master of this road again and took his car to a win in the most difficult circumstances. The timing set by all the RWD cars was not enough for a top 10 finish but the 2nd Heat gave Michel a deserved win.

“The track was quite slippery in Heat 1, it was almost like we were ice skating. We waited for the sun to come up and dry the water on track. Everything went better than expected in Heat 2, we took a few risks and were fastest of the BMWs. We managed to compensate our Arsoun misery, Garo is now 3rd while Hadi Matta moved up to 2nd in our category. We still have the 3rd round to challenge Garo for the local championship.
I would like to thank Nabil and Michel Feghali garage who prepared the car perfectly, in addition to Jihad Abi Rached, we wouldn’t be here without him, and Motortune for finding the best setup on our car. “
As for setup changes between heat 1 and heat 2, Michel said: “We raised the engine’s torque, adjusted the suspension into a lower and softer setup.”
