November 4, 2016 – Driving a MINI Cooper S, Chinese stuntman Han Yue set a new world record for the longest distance driven in a car on its side wheels – yesterday at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Yue completed the full circuit, meaning he traveled a total distance of 20.81 kilometers. It was no easy feat as he had to navigate through the track’s twists, tight bends and elevation changes.
It was perhaps the slowest lap around the Nürburgring as it took 45 minutes to complete and the MINI had to be fitted with special tyres that could withstand the pressure without rapidly wearing out.
