Mitsubishi introduces Lancer Evolution X Final Concept with 480hp

December 28, 2014 – Mitsubishi confirmed that it will no longer produce the Lancer Evolution in the near future, so as a last goodbye, the Japanese brand has unveiled the Lancer Evolution X Final Concept ahead of the car’s debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2015.

Based on the GSR variant, the Final Concept comes with a few upgrades both on the inside and the outside, including matte black paint, glossy finishes for the roof and rear spoiler and a chrome finish for the grille.

Under the hood, the Evolution X Final Concept gets an HKS turbocharger, new intake, exhaust, cooling system and a new ECU which all work in conjunction to help the 2.0-litre engine produce a maximum of 480 horsepower – sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
