Upcoming racer Abdullah Al Dossari is preparing well for the second round of the United Arab Emirates’ 2018 – 18 IAME X30 Challenge Karting Series, which is scheduled for Friday, October 26 at RAK Track in Ras Al Khaimah.

The circuit will use the “Main” layout for the second round as the Saudi Arabian youngster continues to rack up more mileage and gain experience in the Juniors category to add to his time last year. Abdullah has been on-scene to learn the nuances of the circuit in a bid to improve his results.

The championship already has some solid drivers and will span to circuits including Dubai Kartdrome and Yas Marina circuit – the home of Formula One’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. “I feel ready for Round 2 in the championship,” says Abdullah.

“The training at the circuit went well last week which gives me extra boost heading into the weekend. I was able to record the times what was achieved by the winner last year. I hope I can compete for Top 10 in this round, God willing.”

While they will use the main layout for Round 2, the third round on November 23 – also on the same circuit – will use the “Emirates” layout. The 2018-2019 season of the IAME X30 Challenge will include six rounds, which began on September 21 and ends on April 19, 2019.
