Nadim Halabi to Build on his previous success in the 2018 Season

Nadim Halabi never ceased to impress during all his participations in the past years, either at the Lebanese Rally Championship or at the Lebanese Hill Climb Championship.

Nadim clinched the 2017 Group N Rally Championship last year in tough conditions and had to wait until the final day of the famous Rally of Lebanon to seal the deal. Nadim who was running a Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 prepared by Motortune Racing had a considerably consistent season aiming to win the championship. The rallies where very tough and especially the Jezzine Rally where Nadim only managed to finish 13th overall, but apart from that Nadim had excellent runs in the Spring Rally and the Cedars Rally. With consistency and smart rally management Nadim was able to finish the 40th Rally of Lebanon in 5th Place overall and was 2nd in the group N category to achieve the dream title. Nadim went on to score 288 points aided by 45 points from the hill climb championship to end his year on a high and to prove his worth.

2018 marks a different challenge for Nadim. As he initiates his quest to tackle the new season, he plans to contest the season on-board a front wheel drive Citroen DS3 R3 prepared by Motortune racing.

In a brief chat with Nadim he had some insights about the season and some words of gratitude to his supporters from day 1. “I am looking forward to contest the season on the DS3 but I am still working on budget related issues. I hope can be able to pull it in time ahead of the season. I hope to try to contest the season on the DS3 or an EVO 10. I would also like to thank Mr. Raafat Al Mohtar, Advanced Car Rental, Golden Wheat Bakery, Mr Roger Feghali and his team Motortune racing for all the support they have been giving me. I am grateful.”

We at Biser3a.com wish Nadim and all his competitors the best of luck ahead of the season, hoping the season would be up to their expectation.
