November 22, 2015 – Lebanese rally driver Nassib Nassar added a new victory to his record as he finished first among the Group N runners in the 37th Dubai International Rally this past week.
Nassar, alongside Lebanese co-driver Rony Maroun, finished more than 9 minutes ahead of his closest Group N competitor Mansour Bin Jaber as he completed the event in seventh place overall in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.
The competitive action took place on Friday and Saturday (November 20-21) over 12 timed special stages in the remote desert areas to the south of Dubai in parts of the neighboring Sharjah emirate.
Nassar and Maroun’s Dubai achievement comes after they had won the RC4 class in the 38th Rally of Lebanon last September onboard a Motortune Peugeot 208 R2.
