Audi has officially unveiled the third-generation Q3, giving its popular compact SUV a major update inside and out. With over two million units sold globally, the Q3 remains one of Audi’s most important models—and this latest version pushes things even further in design, performance, and technology.
The new Q3 carries a more assertive and modern look, aligning it with Audi’s latest design language. It features a larger single-frame grille, sleek LED lighting, reshaped pillars, and sculpted wheel arches. These changes give the Q3 a more dynamic and refined presence, even if its primary duty is the daily commute.
Under the surface, Audi offers multiple powertrain options. The entry-level model uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 148bhp, with cylinder deactivation tech for improved efficiency. A stronger 200bhp quattro version is also on the way, along with a 261bhp 2.0-liter quattro model offering 295lb ft of torque and all-wheel drive.
Diesel power remains available via a 148bhp front-wheel drive TDI, while a significantly improved plug-in hybrid version joins the lineup. The hybrid pairs a petrol engine with an electric motor and a 25.7kWh battery, offering a combined 268bhp and an electric-only range of up to 74.6 miles—double that of the outgoing Q3 e-hybrid.
Audi has also focused on ride quality and dynamics. The standard steel suspension is designed for comfort, while adaptive dampers adjust continuously to road conditions. Optional progressive steering enhances agility, and new driving modes include ‘balanced’ and ‘offroad plus’ for the quattro models.
A wide range of driver assistance systems is available, including adaptive cruise control, lane assist, fatigue detection, and traffic alerts. The emergency assist feature can even bring the car to a safe stop if the driver becomes unresponsive. For added convenience, the Q3 can remember and repeat up to five parking maneuvers.
Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned. A new curved panoramic display combines an 11.9-inch digital instrument panel with a 12.8-inch touchscreen running Android Auto. A head-up display and redesigned multi-function steering wheel complete the driver-focused layout.
The interior also features sustainable materials, such as recycled polyester, eco-friendly velour, and wood trims. Practicality hasn’t been overlooked, with plenty of storage options and a spacious cargo area offering up to 1,386 liters with the rear seats folded.
With bold styling, smart tech, and diverse powertrains, the all-new Audi Q3 is ready for its next chapter.
