April 27, 2017 – A new motorcycle racing concept called Moto Gymkhana was officially announced by its local and regional founder Francois Salameh at a press conference yesterday at Le Royal hotel, in collaboration with the Lebanese Motorcycle Club and its president Ali Dagher.
Moto Gymkhana is a new type of motorcycle competition – sourced from Japan – that is similar to Autocross (Speed Test), as it requires motorcycle riders to navigate through cones in pursuit of the fastest laptime.
The first Moto Gymkhana event will take place on Sunday, May 14, at the Fouad Chehab stadium starting 9:00 AM and will feature several shows and performances by four European Moto Gymkhana champions.
Riders can register for a practice session before taking part in the competition, and the registration can be done through official motorcycle dealers in Lebanon.
