After finishing 2nd in both local rallies Georgiou will be looking to continue his improvement and will try to start his rally on attack mode in a quest to fight with the big names.
You finished 2nd in both local rallies this year. What are your expectations for ROL?
I am expecting a tough battle up in the front. The most important thing for me is to keep on improving. Although I didn’t participate in many rallies this year but with the Hill Climbs and the local rallies I feel the improvements. I want to have fun and improve my pace.
Can you compete with Roger, Abdo and Nasser?
I should be getting to the point where I can compete with them. I don’t know if I can do it but this is what I should be aiming for, we will wait to find out.
In the past couple of years you were forced to fight back, and we saw you doing some crazy times and your pace was amazing, will this be the case this year?
In those situation where I was forced to fight back from way below in the standings I always found the motivation to get faster times. If I am aiming to compete with the top guys I should have this attitude from the beginning. I need to find the motivation from the beginning. Those guys are on the limit straight from the beginning, so I need to be performing just like them.
Does your car have the full R4 kit?
Yes we have all the mechanical parts, from the arms to the uniballs to everything. We don’t have the R4 suspension though but we can say we have the kit.
