After a disappointing start to his Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy campaign in Portugal, Nicolas Amiouni successfully crossed the finish line during the second round – part of the seventh round of the 2014 World Rally Championship – in Poland.
Amiouni, driving a Ford Fiesta R2 against 11 other competitors in the same class, completed a World Rally Championship event for the first time since the 2011 Jordan Rally, finishing a solid sixth place within the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy class and 39th overall.
The Red Bull athlete, partnered by co-driver Joseph Matar, tackled 24 high-speed special stages covering 362.48km in Poland and Lithuania during four days of action, and will now begin preparations for one of the most famous rallies on the WRC calendar, Rally Finland, scheduled on the 31st of July.
